Mobile Device Management (MDM) lets ALCO USA secure and manage the devices that access company data, including employee-owned devices under our BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy. This guide covers enrollment, security, and support.
BYOD Policy
- Employees may use personal devices for work with approval
- Devices must be registered before accessing company data
- All devices must meet minimum security standards
- Support is limited to work-related apps and connectivity
- The company can remove company data from enrolled devices
Device Enrollment
- Register the device with IT
- Install the management profile
- Apply the required configuration
- Confirm policy enforcement is active
Security Requirements
- Passcode or biometric lock required
- Device encryption enabled
- Remote wipe capability for lost or stolen devices
- VPN for accessing internal resources
- App controls to block risky applications
- Automatic OS and security updates
Support
- Contact the help desk for enrollment help
- Report lost or stolen devices immediately
- Keep the management profile installed and active

- Never disable required security controls
