Gmail Setup & Configuration: Email Management

Gmail is ALCO USA’s email platform within Google Workspace. This guide covers access, organization, security, advanced features, and troubleshooting.

Accessing Gmail

Web Access

  1. Go to gmail.com
  2. Sign in with your ALCO USA email
  3. Verify two-factor authentication if prompted
  4. Accept permissions for Google Workspace
  5. The Gmail interface loads

Mobile Setup

  1. Download the Gmail app (iOS/Android)
  2. Add your ALCO USA email account
  3. Allow the requested permissions
  4. Enter your password if needed
  5. The inbox syncs automatically

Desktop Client Setup

  1. Set up Gmail in your desktop mail client
  2. Sign in with your ALCO USA credentials
  3. Configure notification settings
  4. Set as the default email client
  5. Enable desktop notifications
